Pet of the Week

As a puppy, JuneBug, a greyhound/lab mix, came to Minnesota on a bus from Arkansas, riddled with pneumonia, worms, fleas, kennel cough, and desperately underweight. JuneBug’s luck turned when she was Dog of the Day on WCCO TV. After some steroids, good lighting, and the camera added ten pounds, the Anderson’s swooped her up and slowly nursed her back to health. She spent four years on Lake Minnetonka but moved to Schroeder on the North Shore in March of 2020. Now a Cook County resident, Junebug spends her day hiking, chasing chipmunks, burying and digging up bones, and napping in the best sliver of sunlight she can find.
