I live in Anoka, Minnesota and my husband and I spend a lot of time in the campground during the summer months. The remodeled library is wonderful and we enjoy many of the amenities you offer.
We almost always walk downtown and, as a result, can’t refrain from visualizing some gardens in the large grassy, open space in front of the library. My suggestion, to keep costs in line, is to get the community involved and for starters have two new flower gardens titled “Annual Friends of the Library” and “Perennial Friends of the Library.”
I think it would encourage people to donate their annuals and perennials along with providing many opportunities for community involvement and enjoyment.
Keep Grand Marais beautiful .
