Cook County only needed four innings to defeat Floodwood last Friday, taking a 20-1 victory over the Polar Bears.
The game was played in Floodwood.
Katie Peck had a big day for the Vikings, taking the win on the mound and driving in five runs with her bat. Peck struck out four, gave up three hits and one run over the four-inning game that was called because of the ten-run rule.
As a batter, Peck was three for three with a double and two home runs. She drove in runs with a double in the second inning and homered in her next at bat. The Vikings scored 13 runs in the second inning. Peck also homered in the fourth inning.
Other Vikings who had RBIs in the second inning were Charlet Waver, Rachel Dorr, Emmalli Myer, Allie Duclos and Kallie Anderson.
Charlet Waver also homered, going deep in the first inning in which the Vikings put up three runs.
Kallie Anderson and Charlet Waver each tallied two hits in the game.
