Paul Goettl promoted to CFO of North Shore Health



Paul Goettl was recently promoted to serve as the chief financial officer (CFO) of North Shore Health. Goettl takes over the duties of Vera Schumann who left to take a new position in Hawaii.

Paul, who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Mankato State University, has served as the controller for North Shore Health for the last two years. Before that, he was employed as the Finance Director for Lutsen Resort and the Office Manager for Arrowhead Electric Cooperative. He also owns his own business in Lutsen and supports various businesses and non-profits such as the Cook County Economic Development Authority with accounting and financial guidance.

According to North Shore Health Director Kimber Wraalstad, “Paul helped guide our payroll conversion to Meditech/ Timeclock Plus and participated in our financial reporting and analysis. As part of our COVID-19 response, Paul is a member of the incident management team serving as the finance officer.”
