Patty Winchell- Dahl
Patty Winchell- Dahl was joined by co-workers and friends for a cake and coffee reception at the Reservation Tribal Council Office in celebration of her retirement that was held Friday, April 13.
While she served in numerous leadership roles in her more than two decades of employment with the Grand Portage Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, Patty’s recent years were spent as the program administrator for the tribe’s Elderly Nutrition Program.
Patty noted: “I have been so fortunate to have worked all these years here in this amazing community, but have been especially grateful for my time with the Elders. They have been so gracious and have taught me so much.”
When asked about her future plans, Patty quickly assured all gathered that she is not going anywhere and looks forward to more time to volunteer in both Grand Portage and Grand Marais, along with time with her family and friends.
