Area coaches voted Cook County High School Senior Paisley Smith to the second All-Conference volleyball team on Tuesday, December 8.
A fine all-around player and tough competitor, Smith was the lone senior on this years Vikings’ squad and a team leader.
As an outside hitter playing on the front line, Smith led the team with 75 kills for the season. Her 27 ace serves were also a team high and she tied for first with 21 blocks at the net. She finished with 59 digs.
The Vikings ended the season with a 5-5 record in the pandemic shortened season. They had three wins and four losses in the conference and placed sixth out of 12 teams in the Polar League Conference.
