Paint with wool at GM library program




The Grand Marais Public Library will present “Painting with Wool: Needle Felting Fun,” a free family workshop using colorful sheep’s wool to create landscapes or colorful abstract art.

Artists of all ages and skill will learn the beautiful and fun art of needle felting. The process starts with soapy water and ends after “painting” a picture with your felting needle. Create a detailed landscape or a colorful abstract work of art. No experience necessary. Ages 7 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult and adults are welcome to join in the fun.

This program, sponsored by Arrowhead Library System, will be offered at 4 p.m. Jan. 16 at the Grand Marais library.
