“Dear Climate, you’ve changed!” read one of the signs at the March for Science here on Earth Day. Our community will host a sister rally of the People’s Climate March on Saturday at noon in Harbor Park to raise awareness of the harm to our planet from human-caused climate change. According to NASA, carbon dioxide levels are rising 100 times faster than normal. We need to work for clean energy to protect our air, water, and land. As another sign read, “There is no Planet B.” We face a great responsibility to educate ourselves, and to be part of the solution. We’ll be handing out free pine seedlings for planting. Come join us. All are welcome.
