Order now for “Buffet in a Box” coming August 3

The annual kick-off to the Fisherman’s Picnic was always hosted by the Lioness Fisherman’s Picnic buffet at St. John’s Catholic Church. However, the Lioness Club morphed into WISE, (Women’s Imitative for Service and Education) which is now hosting the meal through “Buffet in a Box.” Choose lunch or supper and the time you want to pick up your meal.

The meal includes Lena’s fishcakes with homemade tartar sauce; Swedish meatballs with gravy; baked ham; potato salad; buttered corn on the cob; dinner roll and delicious homemade dessert bars all for the price of $25.

Just follow the link below to preorder! Last year WISE sold out on Sunday night, so hurry to get your meal. www.wisenorth.org/2022-buffet-in-a-box

Meals will be ready for drive through, pickup at lunch time or dinner time on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at the ACA/High School.

The best part is that all of the funds raised go directly back into our community!

Funds from this event will be distributed t enrichment projects at all Cook County Schools and two $1000 scholarships to deserving seniors.
