Underneath the Christmas trees of many families’ homes this year were presents donated by people participating in Operation Family Christmas.

Call it the Christmas spirit; call it an expression of love. For organizer Jes Rodne, she calls the annual outpouring of generosity from the community nothing short of amazing.

“It was another successful year in the books for Operation Family Christmas and I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome,” Rodne said.

Operation Family Christmas was established to assist parents or guardians who may not be able to buy Christmas presents for their children.

This year 55 families were provided with gifts for their children, creating a brighter Christmas morning for a lot of little ones.

“The communities generosity for this program never ceases to amaze me and I feel truly blessed each year to be able to witness this outpouring of love!” Rodne said.
