It’s time to think about Christmas. Especially how you can brighten someone else’s Christmas with a gift.
Jes Rodne is going into her seventh year as the coordinator for Operation Family Christmas. “I am so excited to have the privilege of working with all of youwhether it be as a family that needs help during the holiday season or the community that is always so anxiously willing to bless others,” said Rodne.
This year applications will be taken over the phone. “The biggest reason for this is that I have found it can be difficult to get specific information for each child, as far as sizes, wants & needs,” Rodne said.
You can contact the following people for applying:
Jes Rodne (218)-370- 2019.
Lena Santos (218)-475- 0113.
Silvi Duclos (218)- 370- 9255.
Applications need to be completed by November 23rd, and once again, the Christmas ‘wish tags’ will be at the local banks on Thanksgiving week. If you would like to donate grocery cards, gift cards, or miscellaneous items before, please get in touch with Jes Rodne.
Who can participate? Cook County parents or legal guardians with children zero months to 18 years of age who need some assistance during the Holiday season.
“Thank you,” said Jes, “For what I assume will be another successful year of helping little ones wake up to a Christmas morning that makes their heart happy!”
