For two years, a couple of wellknown people have been spreading the outrageous allegation that I pilfered funds from Arrowhead Animal Rescue, a charity that I helped found.
I have given over $1,000 in cash, and money from the sale of my artwork and household items, to AAR. I have put in over 100 hours at the city pound taking care of the dogs and cats that end up there. I have also done all the collage work on the donation cans.
In my opinion, those who steal from any charity are no better than a heroin dealer, and those who falsely accuse someone of such a crime are only a notch higher up the social food chain.
For some time, I have let it be known that if my accusers would come to my house and confess and apologize, I would forgive them, but sadly they have only enough courage to bear false witness behind their victim’s back.
One good way to defeat an enemy is to use their own power against them. I have tried several times to bring these individuals to justice or redemption going by the book, but as they don’t use that book I have on occasion waded into the very slime they operate from, making insulting remarks hoping they get fed up enough to confront me, but each time I have used that tactic, I feel unclean.
For legal reasons, neither I nor the newspaper can publish the names of these individuals, but if the readers wish to know who they are, they may stop me on the street. I’m sure to many it will be no surprise.
Persons of conscience and good character must always be on their guard against the vindictive, tinyminded little people who hide in the dark and whisper about those that know who and what they are.
