North Shore Music Association Director Kate Fitzgerald announced that the October 16 music event had to be canceled. However, she noted,
“Because the project is funded by an educational grant and we cannot now present the educational component in the schools, we had to postpone the Walsh & Woodsmith Quartet until spring ‘22. Although we did not send out a press release for the event, a news outlet or two with all the best intentions must have gotten wind that we’d been originally planning it and put it in their event calendars.
“Please know that we will present this project when we are safely able to do so and will let you know well in advance that it’s happening. Thanks so much, again, for your patience in this trying time. Be safe, strong, and well!”
