Notice of community funding application

Cook County has a history of supporting community through grants benefitting nonprofit organizations that enhance our community through their support of arts and culture. This is directly in line with the county’s mission: “Supporting community through quality public service” and highlights the importance of a strong community where we live, work and play.

Applicants must demonstrate a public need for their request and complete the entire application. This year, Cook County anticipates having approximately $15,000 available to support these requests. Fund availability is subject to final budget approval by the Cook County Board of Commissioners.

Priority will be given to organizations that address equitable access to programs and promote community inclusion and participation. Applications are due Aug. 15, 2018. Applicants will be notified by the end of September.

To request an application or if you have any questions regarding this process, contact the county administrator at 387-3687 or jeff.cadwell@ co.cook.mn.us
