Members of the Northwoods Fiber Guild frequently gather for coffee at Java Moose, bringing along fiber art projects to work on and to share—like this lovely scarf. Last week the conversation included planning for the December 1 Holiday Sale and Open House at the Grand Marais Art Colony.
The Northwoods Fiber Guild is once again transforming the Grand Marais Art Colony into a holiday wonderland with its Holiday Sale & Open House on Saturday, December 1, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Guild members invite the public to enjoy holiday treats and weaving and spinning demonstrations as they browse a huge array of high quality fiber articles, clothes, and gifts made by local artists. Visitors will also have the opportunity to learn to make a cute paper reindeer at the hands-on table.
