Great balance, fast feet, quick reflexes, quick thinking and endurance are hallmarks of great logrollers and Allie Duclos seems to have all of those attributes.

Duclos, a four-time world age group champion had to battle hard to take first place in an ultra-competitive U-17 girl’s group at the Three Rivers Roleo held in Onalaska, Wisconsin.

In its 13th year, the tournament was held July 13 at the Great River Landing.

Alie wasn’t the only North Shore Roller to make the podium. Garrett Plummer rolled through a large group of boys to take second place in the U10 boys’ division, and his sister Lexi Plummer made the podium as well with her second place finish in the U13 girls division.

The meet featured both amateur and professional logrollers.

“The venue couldn’t have been more perfect with hot air balloons in the background, great organization and weather,” said Silviya Duclos, mother of Allie.
