CCHS junior Ethan Sporn scored the first goal in a 2-1 victory for the North Shore Storm over the Proctor Rails in a game played Thursday, November 30.
Cameron Roy, a CCHS junior, was the winning goaltender.
Roy was also in the net for two other games, both losses. He had 27 saves in a 4-3 loss to Duluth Denfeld on Nov. 28. Sporn also scored a goal in that game. Roy made 31 saves in the team’s opener, a 4-1 loss to Mound Westonka on Saturday, Nov. 25.
Connor Somnis, also a CCHS junior, is a defenseman on the North Shore Storm squad.
The North Shore Storm is made up of players from Cook County High School, Silver Bay, and Two Harbors, with practices held in Silver Bay and Two Harbors.
