North Shore Federal Credit Union (NSFCU) is excited to announce the opening of a new branch location in Duluth. To better serve credit union members, the new branch will open in June 2018 and will be located in Duluth’s Endi complex, 2104 London Road. More details on a grand opening ceremony and events will be announced this spring.
“Our members have been asking us to open a Duluth branch for years, so we seized the opportunity to lease space in the Endi building when it became available,” said Mark Summers, President of NSFCU. “We already have a strong member base in Duluth, and we’re looking forward to better serving our members with convenient, localized services.”
After the success of NSFCU’s Two Harbors branch grand opening in 2016, credit union leadership began planning an expansion into the Duluth market. NSFCU often sees members – especially younger members – relocate to Duluth for a variety of reasons, namely education and careers. This new branch will allow current members to maintain their membership when they relocate. “We want our members to be able to stick with us, no matter where they go along the North Shore,” continued Summers.
To provide the best customer experience, the new branch will include veteran NSFCU staff as well as new team members who have already been hired. NSFCU is proud to invest in their staff, providing extensive ramp-up time and training so that when the doors open they’re ready to make a great first impression in a new market.
Although the Duluth team has been hired and construction is already underway, NSFCU expects to open doors in Duluth in June 2018. NSFCU will announce plans for a grand opening ceremony and accompanying member appreciation events later this spring.
