It is the focus of the WDSE Cooks’ newest special, “R” is for Rhubarb, featuring a wide variety of recipes focusing on this very hardy plant. Watch the premiere of “R” is for Rhubarb on Saturday, August 6 and in addition to seeing some great new recipes, you will see some familiar faces.
North Shore cooks include Paulette Anholm of Grand Marais, making wonderful Sticky Rhubarb Muffins; Chelsea Lueck, owner of the Gunflint Mercantile and resident of Grand Marais, shared her recipe for Rhubarb Syrup; and the family of Maple Grove’s Cathy Peterson stopped by to cook her delicious Rhubarb Dream Bars on their way to their summer place in Grand Marais.
