A North Shore Arts League is forming, with the first organizational meeting slated for Tuesday, January 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Johnson Heritage Post Art Gallery.
If you have wanted a way to network with other artists in a supportive environment, this group may be for you. This includes potters, fiber artists, photographers, woodworkers, painters, sculptors, metalworkers— any artist who may benefit from having a go-to network is welcome.
During the first meeting the group will be considering and deciding on our first show/member exhibition with space offered by JHP Art Gallery for April 12 – May 5, 2019.
Addressed at the first meeting will be assessing the interest and artist needs. A brainstorming session will be held to discuss what we will be, and what we will not be. Also established will be setting monthly meeting times and dates, and forming a steering committee to shepherd early development.
