The Two Harbors/Cook County Schools Nordic Ski Team is taking orders for wreaths and holiday greens now through November 15. The funds generated help pay for equipment such as skis, boots and poles, as well as dryland equipment, waxes and other supplies.
Various sized wreaths, candy canes and garlands are available. In addition, festive spruce tip containers with a variety of evergreens and plants, trimmed with bows, berries and cones, can be ordered and placed to decorate your front porch and driveway.
A local Two Harbors company supportive of high school sports makes the wreaths. The wreaths will be delivered November 24.
The Nordic Ski Team is a cooperative between Two Harbors and Cook County Schools and is sponsored by the North Superior Ski and Run Club. The team includes skiers from 7th through 12th grade.
The funds generated help pay for equipment and other supplies.
