Rae Piepho is an America patriot (3/5/22 letter). I agree with much of what was written. The crisis in America is coming “from all directions.” These include crime, drug use, gun safety, financial, immigration, COVID, education, and many others. Also, freedom and security are at stake! And most of all, our democracy is in peril. If you support Christian Nationalism and white supremacy, then you would rather have an autocratic regime where you will lose your freedom and your security. Biden won the 2020 election without any evidence of fraud. There should be no debate on that fact. Thus, Congress must work together to build a stronger America where democracy thrives, and all citizens can enjoy freedom and security.
