The Northland Junior Race Series continued on Sunday, February 21 at Mont Du Lac. The Lutsen Mountains Junior Ski team had 21 racers who skied two runs of slalom and four racers under the age of eight who skied two runs of giant slalom in a field of 106 area athletes. Sunny skies, no wind and temperatures reaching 40 degrees made for a perfect day of alpine ski racing. Our racers from Lutsen put on a strong performance with nine podiums and five additional top five finishes.
The next race for the Lutsen Mountains Junior Ski Team will be at Lutsen Mountains, Sunday, February 28 at 11:00 a.m.
