Alexander Nicklow, resident of Lutsen, graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth in December with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in History, and with a minor in Political Science. Alex will be working at YMCA Camp Menogyn as a wilderness guide and sled dog musher this winter, and plans to continue working for Camp Menogyn as a summer wilderness guide as well. Alex has had a lifelong passion for the subject of history and is particularly well-versed on the topic of military history. He is also an avid outdoorsman, and enjoys ice fishing, cross country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, hiking, backpacking, canoeing, kayaking and generally exploring the outdoors.
