New hires at I.S.D. 166



The I.S.D. 166 school board approved hiring several new teachers for the 2020- 2021 school year, as well as accepted the resignation, with regrets, of school secretary Cindi Crawford.

Incoming teachers are:

Eric Beckner was hired full time as the Early Childhood Special Education teacher.

Mila Horak was rehired as the K-12 art teacher.

Thomas Long was hired as an elementary school teacher. Kelly Kotowicz will become the new school counselor. The school district’s new occupational therapist will be April Knight.

With 13 years of experience teaching special education and physical education under her belt, Lill Raynard was hired as a special education instructor. She is licensed K-12.

Kasha Hansen will again come back to teach physical education.

Lacy Fischer will be the new middle/high school special education instructor. She was hired in March and comes to the district with 15 years of teaching special education.

Last but not least, Thomas Nalezny will once again teach culinary arts at I.S.D. 166.
