Commissioners have approved the resignation of Kay Burkett, Eric Robley, and retirement of Patricia (Pat) Strand with regret at the board’s November 23 meeting.
Kay worked as the Deputy Auditor/Benefits and Taxation Specialist. Her resignation was effective November 21 and Human Resources is in the process of recruiting to fill the position.
Eric Robley worked in the Highway department as a Highway Maintenance Worker ll. The Highway Maintenance ll position is already posted due to another vacancy and now the recruitment process will be for two workers.
Pat Strand submitted her intent to retire effective January 31, 2022. Human Resources is also in the process of posting to fill this position.
With the promotion of Rowan Watkins to MIS Director his Radio Communications Analyst position opened and has been filled with the hiring of Art Smolecki, Grand Marais. Art will start November 29, 2021.
