Friday, September 30 was a perfect fall day on the shore of Thomsonite Beach for the marriage ceremony of Bryan Strathy and Jillian Wilson. Bryan is the son of Gregg and Jan Strathy from Edina, Minnesota and the grandson of Susan Hansen of Lutsen. Jillian is the daughter of Dennis and Janece Wilson of Orofino, Idaho. Bryan and Jillian met in Anchorage, Alaska where they both worked for Ravn Alaska, a regional airline. Last year they moved to Edina where Bryan works as a pilot and Jillian as an aircraft dispatcher, both for Sun Country Airlines. Friends and family traveled from Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Oregon, California, Washington, Alaska, Georgia, Florida and Massachusetts to be part of the celebration. After the wedding, a reception was held at the Summit Chalet where guests enjoyed the fall colors from the new gondola at Lutsen Mountains.
