Dusty and Eric Nelms are proud to announce the marriage of their daughter Desiree Nelms to Richard Saari, son of Monica Saari and Homer Auge, of Beloit, Wisconsin and Rick and Sue Saari, of South Beloit, Illinois.
The beautiful wedding ceremony took place next to the ocean on the white sand beach in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic on April 15, 2010.
Nicole Nelms, sister of the bride, was Matron of Honor and “Buzz” Hansberry, good friend of the groom, was Best Man. Bridesmaids were Desi’s good friends Amy Hansberry and Sara Lewellin-Cook. Grant Freitag and Colin Jones, longtime friends of Rick, were the groomsmen.
Twenty-five family members and friends attended the ceremony, most of them enjoying a weeklong celebration in Punta Cana.
Desi and Rick Saari reside in Beloit, Wisconsin.
