Berendt Archer Atkinson (Bear) born at 8:10 a.m. via c-secton one month early on April 10, 2009 to Niel and Jenny Atkinson of Clearwater Lake. He was 19 ½ inches long and 6 pounds 2 ounces. On May 5, Bear Atkinson built his first snowman on Clearwater Lake after a long day of wood splitting!
Mark and Jessica (Deschene) Wilkes are happy to welcome a baby daughter into their family. Lara Theresa Wilkes was born June 26, 2009 in Rochester, Minnesota. She joins her ecstatic fouryear old big sister Natalya and her almost two-year-old big brother Pierce. Grandparents are Steve and Alicia Deschene of Grand Marais and Chris and Nola Wilkes of Queensland, Australia. Aunt Amanda Deschene of Angora, Minnesota joins in welcoming Lara.
