Never more

The Raven flew with the greatest of ease,
As did the grand lakes stormy breeze.
He gasped with dismay as he looked ahead in time
As we humans cried out, is this fault only mine?
Fierce winds and rumbling quakes ripped open the earth
As our mother echoed out, must I need a new birth?
The shiny tall pine tree looked down in dismay
As the fiery flames raced on and is this not their way.
Is it not too late to awaken before the fall?
As deep in all the people, can you not here my call?
The winds plunder on with startling speed
As at home we cry out, what is it that we need?
The sun shines down with its gleaming light
As it’s rays light up our heart so bright.
Are you ready, as were before?
As I do not know, quote the raven never more.
