Cooperation Station is holding a nature play workshop on April 7 that will run from 9 a.m. until noon.
The first hour will be dedicated to learning what nature play is, how it is beneficial to children, and walking away with ideas for your families and classrooms. The first hour is open to the community, parents, grandparents, and neighbors.
From 10 a.m. to noon training will include nature play strategies for early childhood teachers and providers. Experience sample lessons and come away with tips and tools to use to integrate nature play opportunities into your program. Providers must register by March 23 to receive a free educational kit to take home; one kit per program.
Call Ellen at Cooperation Station 387-1324 for more information.
This training is hosted by Cooperation Station and sponsored by Northeast Regional Sustainable Development Partnership.
