Great Expectations School (GES) was highlighted in the article Ten Schools and School Districts to Get Excited About published in educational HORIZONS, the journal of Pi Lambda Theta, an international honor society and professional association in education. GES joined schools from across the country (and British Columbia) who were recognized as incorporating strategies for transforming education, including multi-age classrooms, interdisciplinary curriculum, high levels of differentiation (tailoring lessons to student abilities), and a facilitative role for teachers.
