Nao Trinidad is looking for volunteers to sail on board as crew members

 

Do you want to sail on board of the one most famous ship in history, and living a live experience? You cannot miss the opportunity offered from the Nao Trinidad, the main ship of Magellan´s fleet. Now we are offering to participate as volunteers on board The Nao Trinidad. She is a museum ship traveling the world doing international tours, visiting ports and opening her decks to the public to share the Spanish maritime culture of the XV century, with anyone who wants to know how the spanish sailors lived back in the days .

The Nao Trinidad will visit several ports in the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean and US East Coast during following months. The volunteers will become part of the crew and will experience unrepeatable experience aboard this legendary ship, participating in watches during navigation, sails maneuvers and living on board with professional sailors and other volunteers in an authentic XV century ship replica.

More than 3,000 volunteers have already participated in this sailing adventure. There are some requirements:

• Have a good physical and mental shape.

• Have American nationality or visa to sail (C1/C2/B1/B2).

• Minimum period of three months.

• Have a good attitude and desire to learn.

• Knowing languages is positively valued.

No sailing experience necessary, since on board they are always guided by professionals who will teach you everything you need to share the experience.
