Nancy (Howard) Stewart-Bello




Nancy (Howard) Stewart-Bello originally of Grand Marais, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2015 in Pine River, Minnesota after battling cancer.

Nancy was born in Duluth on September 8, 1950.

She was the daughter of Norman and Molly Howard of Grand Marais.

While attending Cook County High School she was active in student council, cheerleading and gymnastics as well as several other clubs. In her junior year she was the Minnesota gymnastics balance beam champion.

After graduation she attended college in Tucson, Arizona and then worked in the Seattle area for an electrical union. She then worked in the electrical union in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska for over 16 years.

She is survived by her sister, Bonnie (Howard) Erickson of Arvada, Colorado and her brother, John Howard (Suzanne Howard) of Fairbanks, Alaska.

A small family service will be held in Colorado.
