Motorcyclist crashes near Schroeder




A single-vehicle accident just west of Schroeder sent a motorcyclist to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries on Saturday, August 15.

Thomas G. Robinson, 64, of Fergus, Ontario was traveling east on Highway 61 near mile marker 76 at 9:50 a.m. when he saw a vehicle approaching the road and veered, going off the road and coming to rest on the road shoulder.

Robinson was transported by Cook County Ambulance to North Shore Hospital where he was treated for his injuries. He was wearing a helmet.

The motorcycle, a Harley Davidson Sport Classic received moderate damage and was towed by Cook County Towing.

The Cook County Sheriff ’s Office assisted the Minnesota State Patrol at the accident scene.
