Moose on the Loose

Moose Madness came to Grand Marais again on the third weekend of October. Friends and family gathered for great moose-themed activities, enjoying all the activities despite the rain and high winds hitting town. The Moose Central crew—Mandy Theiner, Judy Boots, Rhonda Schulte and Carolyn Higgins—made everyone feel welcome at the newly renovated information center on Highway 61. In a repeat of their success last year, “Team Minnie Moosemeat” found the Moose Madness Medallion once again. Celebrating their victory were (not necessarily in order!) Sharon Brenner, Vickie Benik, Wendy Johnson, Keith Jacobsen, Cooper Johnson, Dakota Johnson, Kamryn Johnson, Allie Jacobsen, Audrey Jacobsen. The “homegrown” team returns to Grand Marais each year to take part in Moose Madness.
