Monroe Crossing featured at ACA event





Monroe Crossing returns to the Arrowhead Center for the Arts stage in Grand Marais at 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 22. The talented band, named for the late bluegrass legend Bill Monroe, not only entertained a delighted evening audience last fall, they spoke to Cook County Middle School students about the history of bluegrass music.

Grand Marais Playhouse will hold a special event at 7 p.m. Sept. 22 at the Arrowhead Center for the Arts, welcoming Monroe Crossing, with Bump and Barbara Jean as opening act, to the stage.

Advance tickets are available online at www.arrowheadcenterforthearts. tix.com. Advance tickets are $17 for adults, $7 for students. Tickets at the door are $20 for adults, $10 students.
