Fog hung over the City of Grand Marais on Saturday, June 9, but that did not dampen the spirits of the car enthusiasts who took part in the Annual Grand Marais Classic Car Show.

Cars of many makes and models, from antique trucks to shiny muscle cars, lined Wisconsin Street for car show attendees to admire. There were Chargers and Dusters and cars with flames and cars painted powder blue. They were on display throughout the morning and hundreds of people strolled through, admiring the gleaming automobiles. Car owners and car enthusiasts alike also enjoyed the bluesy music of Paul Pederson in the morning and the classic rock band Mysterious Ways in the afternoon.

At 2 p.m., there was an orderly line-up to parade through Grand Marais and then to Harbor Light Supper Club where awards were presented.

The winners of the 12 different divisions are listed at right, but the real winners were the people in Grand Marais for the day, who were treated to a fabulous trip down memory lane on Wisconsin Street in Grand Marais.
