In its first tournament of the year, the Cook County Hockey Mite 2 team traveled to Cloquet on Dec. 19 and 20 to play in an eight-team event.
The Mite 2s, coached by Paul Sporn and Steve DuChien, played three games against Cloquet Purple, Carlton and Cloquet Gold. Even though the team was 0-3 for the tournament, the games were hard fought and played well by all.
Thenext Mite 2 event will be January 9 and 10 in Carlton.
