A Minnetonka man driving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) near Murmur Creek Road in Grand Marais skidded on gravel and lost control, suffering non-life-threatening injuries.
John Lynch, 68, was driving a 1996 Polaris 425 on Benedict Lane at about 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 16.
He suffered injuries to his left leg and head. He was not wearing a helmet. He was taken to North Shore Hospital by private vehicle, which was met by a Cook County Sheriff Deputy.
At press time on August 19, Lynch was still in the hospital and his condition was listed as stable.
No citations were issued.
