Memories, magic and more at Birch Grove Foundation celebration

The Birch Grove Foundation celebrated its 30th year in operation and a very successful year of fundraising with a “Back to the Future” party on Saturday, August 15. Attended by toddlers to senior citizens, it was a fun event with a Hollywood theme.

In addition to the always-popular Birch Grove playground, there were a variety of games on the lawn for kids to enjoy. Grownups enjoyed visiting in the shade of the timber frame pavilion.

In the evening, attendees enjoyed a family-friendly and very funny show by Chaz the Magician, followed by an ’80s picnic of sloppy joes and summer salads.

The Birch Grove Foundation gave a 30th anniversary presentation and then everyone enjoyed ice cream and popcorn while watching—what else? —Back to the Future on a theater screen.

It seems that a good time was had by all. If you missed the event and would like to learn more about the Birch Grove Foundation and W.E. Connect programs, visit www.birchgrovefoundation.org.
