David Michael Restad, 31, Grand Marais, pled guilty Jan. 16 to charges of DWI filed Oct. 14, 2012 and was sentenced to 60 days in jail, stayed one year with unsupervised probation and conditions, and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine (half of which was stayed) and court costs and fees for a total of $590.
Brandon Michael Bondeson, 21, Grand Portage, pled guilty Jan. 14 to charges of trespassing filed Aug. 8 and was sentenced to 90 days in jail, stayed one year with unsupervised probation, and fined $300 plus court costs and fees for a total of $390.
David Neal Allan, 46, Ontario, pled guilty Jan. 22 to speeding (45/30) on Jan. 5 and was fined $150.
Devann Michael Pauling, 21, Grand Marais, pled guilty Jan. 22 to charges of marijuana in a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia filed Jan. 11, and was fined $190.
Benjamin Joseph Urbanski, 32, Ontario, pled guilty Jan. 23 to speeding (65/55) and no Minnesota driver’s license on Jan. 5, and was fined $230.
Joshua Adam Szura, 21, Ontario, pled guilty Jan. 27 to speeding (83/55) on Dec. 7, and was fined $290.
Trent Chase Zender, 18, Big Lake, pled guilty Jan. 27 to speeding (81/55) on Dec. 13, and was fined $290.
Spencer Christian Garness, 25, Hayfield, pled guilty Sept. 24 to charges of test refusal filed Aug. 30, the court having dismissed additional charges of open bottle and obstructing the legal process. Sentenced Jan. 28 to one year in jail, stayed one year with supervised probation and conditions, and ordered to pay a $700 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $790.
Johnny Lee Prince, 26, Grand Portage, pled guilty Jan. 28 to felony charges of possession of a controlled substance and fleeing on foot filed Oct. 28, the court having dismissed additional charges of theft and fugitive from justice (extradition waived). Sentenced to the state correctional facility at St. Cloud for 17 months, stayed two years with unsupervised probation and conditions.
