Matters of Record




The Cook County News-Herald publishes Matters of Record to inform the public of arraignments and dispositions of criminal cases in which the potential punishment exceeds $150 and/or 10 days in jail. It is the Cook County News-Herald’s policy that this information contains a complete record. Requests for items to be withheld will not be granted.

Brannon Sheridan McCain, 25, Lauderdale, pled guilty May 29 to speeding (68/50) on May 24 and was fined $150.

Albert Reinold Vanbeck, 49, Grand Marais, pled guilty April 15 to driver’s license driving restrictions (alcohol/ controlled substance) violations and DUI charges filed Sept. 22, 2012. Sentenced May 29 to 60 days in jail, stayed 58 days with supervised probation and conditions, and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $1,090.

Jennifer Dawn Kamande, 30, Ontario, pled guilty June 5 to speeding (71/55) on May 10, and was fined $150.

Erik Pignolet, 40, Hovland, pled guilty April 16 to charges of careless driving and illegal possession of a legend drug filed Feb. 14, the court having dismissed additional charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, no proof of insurance and failure to keep to the right. Sentenced May 28 to 60 days in jail, stayed one year with two years unsupervised probation and conditions, and ordered to pay a $300 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $390.

Dennis Elmer Maloney, 57, Rochester, pled guilty June 7 to speeding (50/40) and no proof of insurance on May 26, and was fined $290.

Joel Kenneth Bonin, 21, Schroeder, pled guilty June 6 to charges of driving after revocation filed Jan. 7, and was fined $290.
