The Cook County News-Herald publishes Matters of Record to inform the public of arraignments and dispositions of criminal cases in which the potential punishment exceeds $150 and/or 10 days in jail. It is the Cook County News-Herald’s policy that this information contains a complete record. Requests for items to be withheld will not be granted.

Christine Gingras, 36, Surrey, B.C., pled guilty Nov. 16 to felony
charges of fifth-degree possession of drugs filed Nov. 11, 2010, and
was sentenced to two years unsupervised probation and ordered to
pay a fine of $1,575.
Brent Alan Miller, 27, Grand Rapids, pled guilty Dec. 4 to speeding (79/55) on Nov. 11, and was fined $230.
Jesse Andrew Johnson, 18, Benton, Ariz., pled guilty Dec. 4 to
speeding (94/55) on Sept. 14, and was fined $390.
Jeffrey Dean Nelson, 56, Duluth, pled guilty Dec. 4 to speeding
(64/40) and no seat belt on Nov. 14, and was fined $255.
Kyle Ray Cunningham, 25, Ontario, pled guilty Dec. 5 to speeding (73/55) on Nov. 25, and was fined $150.
Michael J. Dzijacky, 28, Ontario, pled guilty Dec. 5 to speeding
(71/55) on Nov. 25, and was fined $150.
Ashli Nichole Salman, 28, Kansas City, Mo., pled guilty Dec. 7 to
speeding (77/55) on Nov. 7, and was fined $230.
Ranjit Terence Baboolal, 57, Ontario, pled guilty Dec. 11 to
speeding (76/55) on Nov. 25, and was fined $230.
Linden Lee Anderson, 49, Waltham, pled guilty Dec. 11 to DNR
charges of unlawfully placed body gripping trap on Nov. 29, and
was fined $190.
Salman Ahmad Majid, 39, Livonia, Mich., pled guilty Dec. 11 to
speeding (74/55) on Dec. 2, and was fined $150.
Daniel James Ford, 23, Grand Marais, pled guilty Oct. 29 to
felony charges of fifth-degree drug possession filed Oct. 10, 2011,
an additional charge of possession of drug paraphernalia having
been dismissed by the court. Granted a stay of adjudication Dec.
12 and sentenced to two years supervised probation and ordered
to pay a $500 fine.
Leroy Archie Pratt, 70, Grand Marais, pled guilty Nov. 20 to
charges of DWI filed Aug. 21, and was sentenced Dec. 12 to 180
days in jail, stayed two years with supervised probation and conditions, and ordered to pay a $500 fine plus court costs and fees for
a total of $615.
Gregory Marc Petschen, 57, White Bear Lake, pled guilty Dec.
14 to a DNR Fish & Game violation (untagged big game animal)
on Nov. 4, and was fined $190.
Brian Christopher Fairbanks, 29, Deer River, pled guilty Dec. 14
to speeding (65/55) and no proof of insurance on April 9, and was
fined $330.
