Jon Edward Anderson, 50, Grand Portage, pled guilty Oct. 30 to charges of disorderly conduct and possession of a synthetic cannabinoid filed Aug. 28, the court having dismissed an additional charge of terroristic threats. Sentenced Nov. 20 to 90 days in jail, stayed one year with supervised probation and conditions, and ordered to pay a $250 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $340.
Daniel Frank Cordova, 20, Grand Marais, pled guilty Oct. 30 to charges of check forgery, theft, furnishing liquor to minors, minor consumption and violation of the social host ordinance. Sentenced Nov. 20 to one year in jail, stayed two years with supervised probation and conditions, and ordered to pay fines, costs and restitution totaling $510.
Michael Jonathan Ophelan, 31, address unknown, pled guilty Oct. 30 to felony charges of domestic assault (by strangulation) filed April 5, and was granted a stay of imposition of sentence Nov. 20 and placed on supervised adult probation for five years.
Kyle J. Tronsen, 39, Ontario, pled guilty Nov. 20 to speeding (79/55) on Sept. 23, and was fined $230.
Jeffery Paul Holmberg, 54, Hovland, pled guilty Nov. 20 to speeding (79/55) on Nov. 14, and was fined $230.
Wayne Gunnar Anderson, 18, Grand Marais, pled guilty Nov. 9 to speeding (66/45) on Oct. 12, and was fined $230.
Nathan Anthony Bruno, 21, Ontario, pled guilty Nov. 9 to speeding (90/55) on Sept. 24, and was fined $390.
Ashley Crystal Fairbanks, 26, Minneapolis, pled guilty Nov. 9 to speeding (80/55) on July 27, and was fined $230.
Melvina J. Flamand, 67, Ontario, pled guilty Nov. 14 to speeding (71/55) on Aug. 12, and was fined $150.
