The Cook County News-Herald publishes Matters of Record to inform the public of arraignments and dispositions of criminal cases in which the potential punishment exceeds $150 and/or 10 days in jail. It is the Cook County News-Herald’s policy that this information contains a complete record. Requests for items to be withheld will not be granted.
Ariel Joy Weddle, 22, St. Paul, pled guilty Jan. 23 to speeding (73/55) on
Nov. 2, and was fined $150.
Mattie Marie Hoff, 20, Finland, pled guilty Jan. 9 to charges of theft filed
Aug. 20, and was granted a stay of adjudication Jan. 30, sentenced to one year
unsupervised probation with conditions, and ordered to pay $376.94 restitution plus $100 in court costs and fees.
Jessica Nicole Jacobsen, 21, Grand Marais, pled guilty Jan. 30 to charges
of damage to property filed Aug. 19, and was granted a stay of adjudication
and sentenced to one year of supervised probation. Court costs and $480
restitution were waived.
Patrick James Menor, 43, Duluth, pled guilty Nov. 8 to charges of carrying
a pistol under the influence of alcohol filed June 24, the court having dismissed additional charges of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon
and terroristic threats. Granted a stay of imposition of sentence Jan. 30 and
placed on two years supervised probation with conditions and ordered to
pay a $50 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $140.
Angela Rae Porter, 30, Minneapolis, pled guilty April 26, 2007 to charges
of disorderly conduct filed Oct. 20, 2006, the court having dismissed an
additional charge of fifth-degree assault, and was ordered Jan. 31, 2012 to
pay a $200 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $290. It was also stated
that the defendant can get credit for the $200 fine by providing proof of AA
attendance.
Montgomery Salvatore Romeo, 22, Ontario, pled guilty Feb. 2 to speeding (73/55) on Nov. 26, 2011 and was fined $150.
Candace Marie Pelletier, 30, Grand Marais, was convicted Feb. 1 of charges
of seat belt violation and no proof of insurance filed Oct. 5, 2011, and was
ordered to pay a $225 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $315.
Patrick James Cremin, 60, Webster, Wis., pled guilty Feb. 9 to violation of
DNR Fish & Game regulations (take or possess over limit) on Jan. 14, and
was fined $190.
Johnathan Ray England, 41, Grand Marais, pled guilty Feb. 16 to charges
of driving after revocation on Oct. 11, and was ordered to pay a $200 fine
plus court costs and fees for a total of $290.
Scott Matthew Allen, 34, Ontario, pled guilty Feb. 21 to speeding (88/55)
and driving without a valid license on Nov. 25, 2011, and was fined $490.
Connor Robert Olimb, 18, Ontario, pled guilty Feb. 21 to speeding (73/55)
on Dec. 3, 2011, and was fined $150.
Theresa Marie Stewart, 36, Ontario, pled guilty Feb. 21 to speeding (70/55)
on Dec. 9, 2011, and was fined $150.
Shayne Lee Savor, 43, Ontario, pled guilty Feb. 24 to speeding (70/55) on
Feb. 18, and was fined $150.
Kenneth Todd Rodriquez, 48, Cass Lake, pled guilty Feb. 24 to charges of
speeding (69/55) and driving after suspension filed April 15, 2008, and was
ordered to pay a $150 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $252.
George Chao Her, 30, Albemarle, N.C., pled guilty Feb. 23 to speeding
(74/55) on Oct. 7, 2011, and was fined $150.
Brock Steven Krull, 21, Beaver Bay, pled guilty Feb. 22 to charges of speeding (81/55) and driving after suspension filed Dec. 20, 2011, and was ordered
to pay a $400 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $490.
Kelly Jeanne Baker, 42, Grand Portage, pled guilty Feb. 28 to charges of
not carrying proof of insurance when operating a vehicle on Oct. 26, and
was ordered to pay a $200 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $290.
Ashley-Louise Ingeborg Jacobsen, 24, Laguna Beach, Calif., pled guilty
Feb. 28 to charges of damage to property filed Aug. 19, the court having
dismissed an additional charge of theft. Granted a stay of adjudication and
ordered to pay $480 restitution plus court costs of $100.
Maureen Joan Fasbender, 77, Hastings, pled guilty Feb. 29 to speeding on
Feb. 7, and was fined $390.
