The Cook County News-Herald publishes Matters of Record to inform the public of arraignments and dispositions of criminal cases in which the potential punishment exceeds $150 and/or 10 days in jail. It is the Cook County News-Herald’s policy that this information contains a complete record. Requests for items to be withheld will not be granted.

Daniel Frank Cordova, 19,
Duluth, pled guilty Sept. 19 to
charges of minor consumption
of liquor on June 4, and was
fined $190.
Jordan Lee Rosek, 19,
Appleton, Wis., pled guilty
Sept. 15 to DNR fish and game
violations (take or possess over
limit) on Aug. 10, and was fined
$320.
Steve Andrew Rosek, 52,
Green Bay, Wis., pled guilty
Sept. 15 to DNR fish and game
violations (take or possess over
limit) on Aug. 10, and was fined
$320.
Robert Jonathon James, 29,
Grand Portage, pled guilty Aug.
2 to charges of obstruction of
the legal process (interference
with a peace officer) filed Jan.
15, the court having dismissed
additional charges of furnishing
liquor to minors, possession of a
small amount of marijuana and
contributing to the delinquency
of a child. Sentenced Sept. 20 to
90 days in jail, stayed one year
with supervised probation and
conditions, and ordered to pay
a $200 fine plus court costs and
fees for a total of $290.
Chatchaphon Euavongvasin,
25, Minneapolis, pled guilty
Sept. 20 to speeding (65/40) on
Aug. 9, and was fined $290.
Roxanne Marie Donohoe, 53,
Grand Marais, pled guilty Aug.
16 to charges of driving while
intoxicated filed Oct. 2, 2010.
Sentenced Sept. 20 to 60 days in
jail, stayed one year with supervised probation and conditions,
and ordered to pay a $500 fine
plus court costs and fees for a
total of $615.
Kevin Kendal Hein, 61, Grand
Portage, pled guilty Sept. 21 to
charges of disorderly conduct
filed July 24, the court having
dismissed an additional charge
of terroristic threats. Sentenced
to 90 days in jail, stayed one
year with probation and conditions, and ordered to pay a $50
fine plus court costs and fees for
a total of $140.
Eric Wade Thorsen, 40, Grand
Portage, pled guilty Aug. 17
to charges of failure to notify
police of an accident, and driving after revocation filed June
16. Sentenced Sept. 21 to 90
days in jail, stayed one year
with supervised probation and
conditions, and ordered to pay
a $500 fine plus costs and fees
for a total of $590.
Rachel Ann Christenson,
31, Grand Portage, pled guilty
Sept. 21 to a State Patrol traffic
regulation violation on March
30 (require/permit offense by
another), and was fined $190.
Lois Irene Kreofsky, 80,
Kellogg, pled guilty Sept. 22 to
speeding (65/45) on Aug. 23,
and was fined $230.
Thomas Jeffery Young, 28,
Grand Marais, pled guilty Sept.
26 to charges of open bottle
(passenger) filed Aug. 17, and
was fined $190.
Michael Joseph Silvio, 46,
Kansas City, Mo., pled guilty
Sept. 23 to speeding (71/55) on
July 15, and was fined $150.
