The Cook County News-Herald publishes Matters of Record to inform the public of arraignments and dispositions of criminal cases in which the potential punishment exceeds $150 and/or 10 days in jail. It is the Cook County News- Herald’s policy that this information contains a complete record. Requests for items to be withheld will not be granted.

Mark Daniel Harrington, 44, Grand Marais, pled guilty July 6 to charges
of DUI filed April 12. Sentenced July 19 to 45 days in jail, stayed one year
with supervised probation and conditions, and ordered to pay a $700 fine
plus court costs and fees for a total of $815.
Chana Comfrey Ouray, 29, Minneapolis, pled guilty July 20 to no proof
of insurance on June 16, and was fined $290.
Susan Marie Prom, 41, Grand Marais, pled guilty July 20 to speeding
(75/40) on June 2, and was fined $390.
Craig Stuart Ross, 47, Tofte, pled guilty May 18 to charges of malicious
punishment of a child on June 10, 2010, the court having dismissed additional charges of assault and domestic assault. Sentenced July 20 to one
year in jail, stayed two years with supervised probation and conditions.
David Alan Toskey, 47, New Richmond, Wis., pled guilty July 20 to disorderly conduct (brawling or fighting) on Nov. 28, 2010, and was fined
$240.
Olivera Zugic, 43, Thunder Bay, pled guilty June 22 to charges of DUI
filed May 8, the court having dismissed an additional charge of speeding. Sentenced July 20 to 60 days in jail, stayed one year with supervised
probation and conditions, and ordered to pay a $500 fine plus court costs
and fees for a total of $615.
Alan James Johnson, 58, Wayzata, pled guilty July 20 to charges of DWI
filed July 3, and was sentenced to one year in jail, stayed two years with
supervised probation and conditions, and ordered to pay a $700 fine plus
court costs and fees for a total of $890.
Joseph William Tessmer, 32, Apple Valley, pled guilty July 20 to charges
of DWI filed June 4, an additional charge of open bottle in a motor vehicle
having been dismissed by the court. Sentenced to 60 days in jail, stayed
one year with supervised probation and conditions, and ordered to pay a
$500 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $615.
Kyle Walter Bloomquist, 19, Grand Marais, pled guilty July 28 to liquor
consumption by a minor on June 11, and was fined $190.
Brandon Robert Seitz, 33, Grand Marais, pled guilty July 27 to driving
without a valid license on June 25, and was fined $190.
Allen Wortz, 50, Howards Grove, Wis., pled guilty July 20 to charges of
DWI on Jan. 21. Sentenced to 60 days in jail, stayed one year, and ordered
to pay a $700 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $790.
Jenna Rae Dahl, 22, Grand Portage, pled guilty Aug. 4 to charges of
driving without a valid license on Nov. 10, 2010, and was fined $190.
Reni Randolph Dahmen, 25, Grand Portage, pled guilty July 19 to
charges of trespassing on April 23, the court having dismissed additional
similar charges. Sentenced to 90 days in jail, stayed one year with conditions, which may be served concurrently with a sentence in a separate
case.
Randee Lynne Wesley, 18, Grand Marais, pled guilty Aug. 3 to charges
of trespassing and damage to property on June 3, and was sentenced to
45 days in jail, stayed one year with supervised probation and conditions,
and ordered to pay a $50 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $140.
Jason Martin Lien, 34, Grand Portage, pled guilty Aug. 4 to driving after
revocation on March 30, and was fined $290.
Alan John Anderson, 21, Lindstrom, pled guilty Aug. 3 to charges of
DWI on June 12, and was sentenced to 60 days in jail, stayed one year
with probation and conditions, and ordered to pay a $500 fine plus court
costs and fees for a total of $590.
Malachi Harold Haugen, 24, Lutsen, pled guilty June 14 to charges of
disorderly conduct and possession of a small amount of marijuana on
Aug. 14, 2010, the court having dismissed an additional charge of interference with an emergency call. Sentenced Aug. 3 to 90 days in jail, stayed
one year with probation and conditions, and ordered to pay a $150 fine
plus court costs and fees for a total of $290.
Lester Steven Morrison, 57, Lutsen, pled guilty July 6 to felony charges
of drug possession filed May 25, and was sentenced to 30 days in jail,
stayed eight months with five years supervised probation and conditions,
and ordered to pay court costs and fees of $90.
Trevor Anthony Pehrson, 18, Grand Portage, pled guilty Aug. 3 to
charges of minor consumption of alcohol on June 11, and was ordered to
pay a $100 fine plus court costs and fees for a total of $190.
