Nora Anne Mohwinkel, 34, Eagan, Minnesota, pled guilty January 9, 2023, to a petty misdemeanor of Traffic Speeding 78/40 on December 19, 2022. Fines and fees total $385.

Benjamin Michael Nichols, 29, Grand Marais, Minnesota, pled guilty November 28, 2022, to two misdemeanors of 1) Traffic Collision – Failure to Notify Owner of Damaged Property, and 2) Careless Driving – Operate any vehicle carelessly on street or highway. Incidents occurred on May 29, 2022. Sentenced on January 9, 2023, to two years of supervised adult probation, Local Confinement (90 Days stayed for one year), and conditions of behavior. Fines and fees total $600.

Blane William Filand-Rorah, 26, North Mankato, Minnesota, pled guilty on January 9, 2023, to a misdemeanor of DWI – Operating a Motor Vehicle with Blood Alcohol Concentration of 0.08 within 2 hours of the incident on September 17, 2022. Sentencing includes one year of adult probation to the court, Local Confinement (60 Days stayed for one year), and conditions of behavior. Fines and fees total $2085.

Julien Albert Deschenes, 20, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, pled guilty to a petty misdemeanor on January 23, 2023, of Traffic Speeding 80/60 on November 13, 2022. Fines and fees total $225.

Tyler Mancel John Jeffrey, 40, incomplete address, pled guilty to a misdemeanor on January 23, 2023, to Reckless Driving, Consciously Disregarding a Substantial or Unjustifiable Risk, on September 25, 2022. Fines and fees total $1085.

Yarrow Kelley Korf, 45, Hovland, Minnesota, pled guilty on December 13, 2022, to a misdemeanor of Obstructing the Legal Process – Interfering with a Peace Officer, on May 22, 2022. Sentenced on January 23, 2023, to Local Confinement (60 Days stayed for one year), one year of supervised adult probation, and conditions of behavior. Fines and fees total $185.

Daniel John Barta, 58, Superior, Wisconsin, pled guilty on January 23, 2023, to a misdemeanor of DWI – Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Blood Alcohol Concentration of greater than 0.08 within 2 hours of the incident on November 12, 2022. Sentenced to Local Confinement (60 Days stayed for one year), one year of adult probation to the Court, and conditions of behavior. Fines and fees total $2085.

Alexis Christine Eliasen, 28, Grand Marais, Minnesota, pled guilty on November 28, 2022, to 1) a gross misdemeanor, of DWI – Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol, and 2) a misdemeanor of 5th Degree Assault with Attempt to inflict Bodily Harm. Incidents occurred on April 2, 2022. Sentenced on January 11, 2023, to a total of three years of supervised adult probation, Local Confinement (365 Days stayed for two years with credit for one day served), and conditions of behavior. Fines and fees total $2085.
