The Cook County News-Herald publishes Matters of Record to inform the public of arraignments and dispositions of criminal cases in which the punishment exceeds $150 and/or ten days in jail and/or includes one year of supervised adult probation. Dennis Ray Lecy Jr, 58, Robbinsdale, Minnesota, pled guilty November 30, 2022, to a gross misdemeanor of DWI – Third Degree Driving While Impaired, on September 10, 2022. Sentenced on December 8, 2022, to Local Confinement (180 Days stayed for four years), and Local Confinement (30 Days) that can be served with Home Detention Electronic Monitoring, NERCC, or one year of ignition interlock with GPS tracking. Also sentenced to four years of supervised adult probation and conditions of behavior. Fines and fees total $6085.
Kiang Weng Tan, 26, Richfield, Minnesota, pled guilty on December 8, 2022, to a petty misdemeanor of Traffic Speeding 86/60 on December 4, 2022. Fines and fees total $285.
Rachel Leigh Puyette, 31, Grand Marais, Minnesota, pled guilty on February 28, 2022, to a felony of Third-Degree Burglary on June 25, 2021. Court Decision Continued on December 15, 2022. Requirements include Local Confinement (15 Days with credit for time served: 15 Days), four years of supervised adult probation, and conditions of behavior. Fines and fees total $500.
